DOONART STUDIO TOUR 2023
Eligibility:
Reside in Bonny Doon, Davenport or the SLV - (Felton, Ben Lomond, Brookdale, Boulder Creek) & be hosted by a Bonny Doon participating artist.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT & COMPLETE APPLICATION BELOW:
I understand that the purpose of the Bonny Doon Studio Tour (BDST) is to showcase, promote and market the artists and arts in our Bonny Doon community/SC Mountains and educate visitors about art and art making processes. I hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. I agree to open my studio, 11 am to 5 pm Saturday & Sunday July 29th & 30th, 2023 and be present during those hours.
2. I will have pieces of recent, original, one-of-a-kind works prominently displayed.
3. My process will be adequately shown or explained. I will show visitors materials, tools and works-in-progress and will discuss and, whenever possible, demonstrate my process of making art. Storyboards and/or visual aids can also be used.
4. Commercial reproductions of my work will be clearly and accurately labeled, identifying the work as a "reproduction."
5. I agree to submit 3 .jpg images of my artwork (300 dpi at 6” largest dimension) with a brief description of work and an artist Bio that will be used for the brochure, web site, and promotion of the event. Upload below or

Benefits: The participation fee includes all expenses for print advertising, inserts, 5000 brochures with map and examples of each artists’ work; advertising in local papers, print & on-line, radio ads, 4-ea. 2 sided A-Frame signs for major intersections;18" x 24" individual signs as needed,. web page expenses; and misc. expenses. The web page will have examples of your work, links to your website, etc.

* Artist bios, description for flier/website. Email to Su Gatch & Linda Levy
* Begin to create personal human interest articles about participating artists’ stories.
* Graphic Designer – Proof of Brochure and ads Due by April 30
May 15 2023:
* Graphic Designer -Deadline to send media to printing. - Brochures, posters, advertising available.
* Deadline for Battle Mountain News -Page insert.
* Deadline for human interest articles to be edited and submitted to publications
Starting June 11 - Saturday
* Brochures, posters, and PDF e-mail will be available to all artists to pick up at Nancy's 4141 Smith Grade or Linda's 416 Westdale Drive
Week of July 3rd
* Submit advertising to all Print Media – Graphic Designer
* Volunteers distribute posters
* Mail brochures to your mailing list
Week of July 3rd – 9th
* Artists to e-mail info / PDF brochure to clients about event.
* Volunteers to produce and distribute event signage for all artists.
* Final push on advertising/ 2nd distribution of brochures.
* Reminder e-mail to clients.
Week of July 17/23th

July 31 - Aug 1 Take down and save your signs for next time!
