Ravens are taking over the entire West Coast of the US. Their population has
grown exponentially over the last few years. Now, I believe they are intelligent
creatures, have a lot of cultural significance, but I also feel they are a bit of a
harbinger of our world's decay. I am not a "doom and gloom" kind of person, so
while the underlying structure of the raven paintings is decaying, rusting, falling
apart materials, I finish the pieces off with a light-hearted, lyrical line.
